So much better!

 

Check it out!  You can see the house!  Kevin planted abelia's across the back (they attract butterflies).  He planted some little red flowers across the front.

 

Here's the before pic again.  Wow!

 

And here's the right side of the house.  We still need to trim up the trees, but I am loving the difference already.

Klive is ONE!

Our sweet baby boy is one!  I just can't believe it.

 



 

Lots of sparkler candles instead of the traditional "1" candle.  Klive was mesmerized by them.

 

It took some tasting off of Papa's finger, but he finally decided to dig in.

 

I decided to make red, white, and blue layers on the inside with a traditional butter cream frosting.  The berries on top were partly to go with the patriotic theme and partly because Klive LOVES them.
