The Berenstain Bears' Caring and Sharing Treasury by Jan and Mike Berenstain

It was a great day when this book arrived at our door.  My kids love the Berenstain Bears and a combination of five books bound into one is definitely a good thing.  These five books, as stated in the title, carry a caring and sharing theme.  They are not new books to the Berenstain collection and have all been published previously it appears.  But what a great subject matter to pull together!

My four year old loves each of these stories, and we have read them over and over and over again.  Of course, with almost all Berenstain Bear books, there is an important message to be learned.  I am more than happy to read these books to my kids.  I love that there is a scripture verse that pertains to the message placed at the beginning of each story.  I am thrilled with this collection, or “treasury”, and I know it will be a favorite one day with my younger children as well.

The Berenstain Bears Mother's Day Blessings

Here is another enjoyable Berenstain Bear book.  Mother’s Day Blessings follows Brother, Sister and Honey bear as they prepare a Mother’s Day surprise for Mama and Gran.  Throughout the day they see examples of other mothers being appreciated on their special day.

This newest Berenstain Bear book is a great read as we prepare for Mother’s Day coming up, or anytime for that matter.  My three year old enjoyed it and it caused him to ask many questions about moms and their roles.  There are also questions in the back of the book to talk with your children about and activities as well.  I also love that scripture is included that pertains to the subject matter.  You can’t go wrong with Berenstain Bear books.
