Pink Banana Squash

Well, we finally picked our squash. The plant ended up only yielding two, but boy aren't they two fine looking squash!


They are supposed to keep just fine for several months in a cool dark place, so I am going to try keeping them in the pantry and just check to make sure they aren't rotting. If I need too, I can cut them in chunks and freeze them. I am hoping they will hold out till the fall and I can roast them. Yum!

A turkey AND a brisket! Goodness gracious!
